Step 5: How to Answer the QuestionsRead each question carefully and select all answers that apply. It can be more than one on some questions. Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article. Read the first question then you can refer back to the written material before the questions until you see the answer. Click on 'Click here to review the article' to take you back to the written material, and find the answers there. Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer. Answer the next question and continue through to the last question. Check over your answers and click Submit. Wrong Answers: Click Try Again if you get any wrong answers and be sure to read the pop up notes with further information to help you. You can try again as many times as required. Once you have passed, click next step to continue on in the next step. What is Zoom?All appointments are done with Zoom which is FREE for you to use. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your email that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. Screen Sharing: As you go through the Courses, you might find that you need some technical advice from time to time. This might include help to book an appointment, how to use the APP, how to change your password, etc. To enable us to help you, we might require that you share your screen with us so we can walk you through the steps. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak. Ensure your workspace is quiet. Be sensitive to background noises while you are speaking. Check your wifi, test your video and audio before the meeting. Familiarise yourself with the reaction buttons so you can raise a hand, etc. Turn off your video and don't forget to mute your device when not speaking. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your email that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your email that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. What is Zoom?All appointments are done with Zoom which is FREE for you to use. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your email that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. You also have options to test your speaker and microphone and you can open audio settings. 2 - Turn your video on or off. Default for a meeting is to always turn your camera off unless asked to turn it on by the meeting host. Turning on your video slows down the speed of your internet. 3 - See who is present in the Zoom room. You can also change your name here. 4 - Open chat facility. 5 - Share your screen with others - only with permission and if asked to do so by the meeting host. 6 - Use reactions such as raising a hand, smiling, etc. 7 - Leave or end the meeting. 8 - Your profile picture. Screen Sharing: As you go through the Courses, you might find that you need some technical advice from time to time. This might include help to book an appointment, how to use the APP, how to change your password, etc. To enable us to help you, we might require that you share your screen with us so we can walk you through the steps. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak. Ensure your workspace is quiet. Be sensitive to background noises while you are speaking. Check your wifi, test your video and audio before the meeting. Familiarise yourself with the reaction buttons so you can raise a hand, etc. Turn off your video and don't forget to mute your device when not speaking. Relief from Attacks - the material in these classes builds upon the information in the prior class so please complete the classes in the order listed Click on the Written Material Section to view the first Step After reading through the material click on Complete, then click Next Step Questions: the Written Material before the Questions holds the answers - click on 'click here to review the article' to refer back to the written material for answers Check over your answers and any notes, and click Try Again, if needed. *If you get any questions incorrect you can repeat the questions by clicking 'Try Again' until you successfully answer all of the questions Once you have passed, click Next Step to continue Continue through and Complete all Steps and Questions in the Written Material Section MEDIA Section Next, click on the Media Section to view either video or audio material related to the classes Scroll through to listen to each class media in either video or audio format, and then click Continue APPOINTMENTS/TUTORING SUPPORT Section Click on the Appointments Section for access to Tutoring and Lets Chat Appointments To schedule an appointment click ‘Book Now’ and follow the prompts. Step 5: How to Answer the QuestionsRead each question carefully and select all answers that apply. It can be more than one on some questions. Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article. Read the first question then you can refer back to the written material before the questions until you see the answer. Click on 'Click here to review the article' to take you back to the written material, and find the answers there. Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer. Answer the next question and continue through to the last question. Check over your answers and click Submit. Wrong Answers: Click Try Again if you get any wrong answers and be sure to read the pop up notes with further information to help you. You can try again as many times as required. Once you have passed, click next step to continue on in the next step. How can I connect outside of the Courses of Study?The Courses of study are created from the live meetings, referred to "Events." You are welcome to attend any Events on the calendar, such as the Tea and Coffee (Q&A), the weekly Sunday Service, Christian Foundations, Bread of Life meetings, etc. For more information , please go to our website (www.onlinechristianchurch.com/events) All events are free, but registration at the website is necessary before you can sign up for Events and join meetings.
